Trap

Wallum Lake Rod & Gun Club is the premiere trap facility in the State Of Rhode Island and has been serving trap shooters since 1948. Wallum Lake is also honored to be home of the RI Trap Shooters Hall Of Fame. The club boasts eight (8) program fields and one (1) practice trap. The field directly in front of the pavilion is handicap accessible. Three (3) fields are equipped with lights for night time shooting. All fields are fitted with Pat-Trap automatic trap machine and Canterbury Voice Release Systems.Wallum Lake host the RI State Trap Shoot, several registered shoots during the summer and has an annual winter league.

The club house is heated and air conditioned for shooter comfort. Meals are available during all registered trap shoots and league shoots. The restroom and shower facility is located next to the pavilion and is handicap accessible.

The club has the facilities to provide services for thirty (30) RVs requiring electricity (30 amp) and water.

Trap hours of operation are Wednesday 6PM-9PM. and Saturday 10AM-2PM. We are open to the public during these hours. Trap is open throughout the year except on major holidays (New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas).
